The Italian midfielder has committed his long-term future to PSG.
Marco Verratti has signed a new contract at Paris Saint-Germain until 2026.
Verratti has established himself as a pillar of PSG’s midfield since joining the club in 2012.
The Italy international’s previous deal was set to expire in 2024. But the club have decided to award him a new deal before the winter transfer window.
“It gives me great pride to extend my contract with Paris Saint-Germain,” the former Pescara midfielder told the club’s website.
“I arrived in Paris more than 10 years ago, in this city that I consider my second home. I have always received a lot of support from the club and the fans since I started and I am very grateful for that.
“It was obvious to me that my story would continue to be written here. I hope to win many more trophies in the red and blue shirt.”
Verratti made his 399th appearance for PSG when the club faced Strasbourg in Ligue 1‘s 16th matchday.
In his ten seasons at PSG, Verratti has won eight Ligue 1 titles, six Coupe de France trophies and six Coupe de la Ligues. The Italian star has registered 11 goals and 56 assists during his time at Parc des Princes.
