The Parisians hope to have two of their key players back for their upcoming battle against the Blancos.

Neymar’s presence in PSG’s training on Thursday has boosted hopes around his imminent comeback from injury. The Brazil star has not played for the Ligue 1 giants since November 28 and will certainly miss his side’s match against Rennes on Friday.

However, Mauricio Pochettino has not ruled out the Brazilian for their Champions League last-16 tie against Real Madrid.

“He’s a great player who wants to play in the big games,” the PSG boss told a pre-match news conference.

“But he’s an experienced player who has had injuries before.

“He has the maturity to be able to handle these types of situations and use these situations to bring out the best in himself.

“We will wait and decide in the next few days if he will be there for Tuesday.”

Sergio Ramos, who suffered a calf injury two weeks ago, is also a doubt for the game. The Spaniard has featured in only five games for PSG since joining the club in July.

The club announced the Spaniard has started running sessions on Thursday. The player will miss the game against Rennes. However, an evaluation on Saturday could provide him with a green light to play against his former side three days later.
