The French giants have added a well-known talent scout to their sporting department.

Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed Luis Campos has joined the club as their new sporting advisor.

The announcement came after the club sacked former advisor Leonardo last month. Campos, who has been working as a talent scout at Monaco and Lille, will start working at Parc des Prince ahead of the next season.

“I am happy to be joining Paris Saint-Germain, which I consider is the most ambitious and exciting club in world football,” Campos said after his arrival.

“I believe strongly in and share the vision of the Club, and I cannot wait to get started to further unleash the great potential of this exceptional Club.”

Campos’ most urgent task is to sort out the future of Mauricio Pochettino at the club. Several French sources have reported the club want to sack the Argentine this summer.

The Parisians are reportedly planning to sign Zinedine Zidane as their new manager. The former Real Madrid boss is currently in Qatar.

However, his representative has denied reports about his client’s reported agreement with PSG.

“All these rumours circulating are untrue. To date, I am the only person to represent and advise Zinedine Zidane. Neither Zinedine Zidane nor I have been contacted directly by the PSG owner,” Alain Migliaccio told L’Equipe.
