PSG had ruled the striker out for three weeks after his untimely hamstring injury at the beginning of February.

Kylian Mbappe has made the Paris Saint-Germain squad for Tuesday’s Champions League match against Bayern Munich.

The 24-year-old striker has missed the last PSG three games after suffering a thigh injury on February 1. At the time, the club said the injury could sideline him for around three weeks. That prognosis seemingly ruled him out of the first of a two-legged round of 16 tie against Bayern in Paris.

On Monday morning, however, PSG uploaded pictures of Mbappe in group training on social media and later put him on the 22-man squad list.

According to ESPN, Mbappe may start from the bench for the Champions League game at the Parc Des Princes. He took part in group training on Sunday, but did not complete the full session with the squad.

PSG manager Christophe Galtier said he would take ‘zero risk’ with the France international after Sunday’s 3-1 Ligue 1 defeat to AS Monaco.
