The Ligue 1 leaders have not made a single signing yet going into the final hours of the January transfer window.
Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier has confirmed talks between the club and Chelsea for Hakim Ziyech.
As reported by L’Equipe on our daily transfer gossip page, PSG are seeking a six-month loan deal for Ziyech. The winger is open to the deadline-day move, but the clubs remain in a deadlock in terms of striking a deal.
“We’re working on Hakim Ziyech deal, it’s true,” Galtier told reporters in a PSG press conference. “Talks are ongoing. I don’t want to say more, as he is a Chelsea player.”
Ziyech has struggled at Chelsea this season, managing just one assist in 15 appearances across all competitions. He would allegedly favor a move to France over joining another English club.
The Morocco international could see a reduction in game time at Chelsea following the winter arrivals of Mykhailo Mudryk, David Datro Fofana, Noni Madueke, and Joao Felix.
