Zinedine Zidane is the club’s favourite choice to replace the Man United managerial target.

An empty managerial seat at Man United has generated countless rumours about potential candidates for the job. However, several sources have agreed that one name is defiantly among the top candidates: Mauricio Pochettino.

The Argentine manager is currently working at PSG, but he is reportedly keen to make his Premier League return. His spell at PSG is not going great either. He is under pressure for his side’s lack of form as they continue their unstable performances.

It is very unlikely that Man United would make a move for Pochettino before the end of the season. They have reportedly reached an agreement with German manager Ralf Rangnick to take over as interim boss. However, Pochettino will certainly stay on Man United’s list of candidates for a permanent manager.

According to Le Parisien, PSG are keen to hire Zinedine Zidane as Pochettino’s successor. Zidane himself was a Man United target. However, he distanced himself from the job by stating he needed a vacation until the next campaign.

The French source claims PSG have already conducted meetings with Zidane and discussed the club’s project. However, both parties are calm about the situation as they have plenty of time to negotiate a move.
