Another route out of Manchester United has opened up for CR7 after offers from Saudi Arabia and the United States.

Corinthians president Duilio Monteiro has opened the door for Cristiano Ronaldo to join the Brazilian club.

The forward’s future remains under the spotlight despite the 2022/23 campaign being just around the corner. He reportedly wants to leave United for a UEFA Champions League club. However, as things stand, no transfer has happened.

But while suggesting a Ronaldo move to Corinthians is unlikely, Monteiro is keeping an eye on the star’s situation all the same.

“It’s true, I dream big. This is Corinthians!” said Corinthians president as quoted by Mundo Deportivo.

“Aren’t Willian and Renato Augusto here? In football, everything is possible and I have the obligation to give my best for Corinthians.

“Is it possible? I don’t know. We didn’t try, we didn’t investigate. There was no such possibility, but we are keeping an eye on him. Imagine that he suddenly wants to play in Brazil…”

According to a recent report from Fabrizio Romano, Ronaldo has already turned down offers from Saudi Arabia and the United States. The forward’s plan is perfectly clear, he wants to continue in Europe for the foreseeable future.

The 37-year-old is currently training ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League opener against Brighton on Sunday.
