While pre-season hasn’t started yet, clubs have already started unveiling their new home kits for the 2022/23 Premier League season.
The 31st Premier League campaign takes place between August 6, 2022, and May 28, 2023.
Teams are already strutting their new gear for 2022/23 with some innovative designs aimed at keeping things fresh and slick.
Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham, and several other Premier League teams have officially launched their new home kits so far. Check them out below!
Arsenal
Arsenal were one of the first Premier League teams to launch their new home kit.
The Gunners will donate £5 from every shirt sale to the Arsenal Foundation, the club’s local charity. between May 19 and August 5.
The London side wore the 2022/23 Adidas home kit for the first time in their final Premier League game of last season against Everton, which they won 5-1.
Aston Villa
The Villains showcase their prestigious history by including subtle chevrons within the fabric. The Castore design has a classic claret and blue color palette, which aims to draw inspiration from the club’s ‘sophisticated and understated style’.
Bournemouth
For their return to the Premier League, Bournemouth will stick with their traditional red and black striped kit. The Umbro design’s jagged stripes are ‘inspired by the architectural stadium pillars’.
Brentford
In an uncommon move, Brentford will enter the 2022/23 campaign with the same home kit the club used last season. The idea is to avoid fans forking out for a new kit every season.
Brighton

Chelsea
Chelsea have added a touch of white on the collar of their latest blue home kit. The shirt pays homage to Ted Drake. The man who joined the club 70 years ago and led them to a first league title in 1955 as the manager.
Drake was key behind the change of Chelsea’s nickname from ‘the Pensioners’ to ‘the Blues’. He also introduced the image of a lion to the club’s badge.
Crystal Palace

Everton
The Toffees pay tribute to the central element of their crest – the Prince Rupert’s Tower – in their new home kit for the 2022/23 season.
The jersey repeatedly features an embossed tower pattern spread across and has two hummel chevrons going down the arms, with white panels and a round neck completing it.

Leicester City
Leicester City have gone for a prominent white-collar and bronze-stained crest.
The ‘Create Iconic’campaign sees a white-collar synonymous with the kits back from the 70s, while the dynamic fox design is a nod to the shirts that legends such as Gary Lineker wore in the 80s.
Liverpool
Liverpool have gone for a ‘Scouse solidarity’ theme in their latest Nike home kit.
The new gear takes a plain, no-nonsense design manifesting ‘the mentality of its people’. The kit is all red, with just the logos and sponsors taking a different color in white. To symbolize the bond between the club and fans, the sleeve cuff features a YNWA graphic pattern.
Liverpool have also included the Hillsborough insignia on the back under the collar in memory of the people who lost their lives in the Hillsborough tragedy.
Manchester City
Manchester City and Puma have paid tribute to the late 1960s with a classic design.
The Premier League leaders have gone on a slightly different this season by combining their traditional sky blue color with marron rings on the collar and sleeves ends.
The club paid homage to the late Colin Bell, a club legend from the 60s and 70s era, with a graphic on the inside collar.
Manchester United
Manchester United have gone for a retro-inspired home kit for the new season.
The adidas design is said to be centered on performance, comfort, and the club’s heritage. It bears a striking resemblance to some of the club’s most famous kits.
Newcastle United
The Magpies’ latest home jersey pays tribute to the 130th anniversary of the club’s founding on December 9, 1892.
Sportswear brand Castore marks the occasion by combining elements of Newcastle’s most memorable home kits with modern touches, whilst using the classic black and white stripes. ‘130 years’ is etched onto the shirt.
Nottingham Forest
For their first season back in the English top-flight in 23 years, Nottingham Forest have gone all red. The new shirt has a two-tone Trent Bridge pattern on the sleeves. However, as the Reds are yet to announce a sponsor, the kit is currently sponsorless.
Southampton
The Saints take inspiration from kits worn by Kevin Keegan and Charlie George in the 1980s for their latest home design. This season, they’ll wear white predominantly and have a red central stripe.
Tottenham
Tottenham have kept the classic lily-white coloring in their newest home shirt, adding a neon uncovering on the collar and sleeves. The kit includes navy blue shorts and white socks.
This is part of the club’s first installment of the ‘Dare To Do’ series’.
West Ham United
The Hammers’ latest Umbro home kit includes the traditional claret and blue colors on the sleeves. It also features a graphic inspired by the architectural lines of West Ham’s home ground, the London Stadium.
Wolves
The traditional gold shirts and socks and black shorts are again included in Wolves’ newest home kit.
The club’s new shirt sponsor, AstroPay, is emblazoned across the Castore design and 12Bet is the shirt’s sleeve sponsor.
