The Premier League awards for the best player, manager and goal have been announced for the month of February.

It’s a Manchester clean sweep in the Premier League monthly awards, with the following three names winning big.

Player of the Month – Ilkay Gundogan

Gundogan has the Player of the Month prize ahead of Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), Joachim Andersen (Fulham), Harvey Barnes (Leicester), Joao Cancelo (Manchester City), Raphinha (Leeds), Jesse Lingard (West Ham), and Ruben Neves (Wolves).

The German midfielder was pivotal in City’s brilliant form in February, managing four goals and an assist during the month.

He also won the award in January.

Manager of the Month – Pep Guardiola

Six wins in as many games have naturally made Guardiola the Premier League Manager of the Month for February.

The City boss oversaw convincing wins over Burnley, Everton, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and West Ham United in this period.

Furthermore, City only conceded two goals and scored 15 goals to bag Guardiola a ninth Manager of the Month award in England.

Goal of the Month – Bruno Fernandes

The ‘Penandes’ nickname has been trending on social media lately thanks to Bruno’s constant supply of penalty goals for Manchester United.

But the Portuguese midfielder proved last month he is more than a penalty goalscorer by slamming home this brilliant strike against Everton.
