The Premier League awards for the best player, manager and goal have been announced for the month of March.
Player of the Month – Kelechi Iheanacho
Iheanacho has become the fourth Nigerian footballer to win the Premier League’s Player of the Month after impressive showing in March.
The 24-year-old fended off competition from Harry Kane, Jesse Lingard, Riyad Mahrez, Luke Shaw, Illan Meslier, Leandro Trossard, and Andreas Christensen to claim the award for the first time in his career.
He also became the first Leicester City player to claim the Premier League’s Player of the Month since Jamie Vardy in October 2019.

The Blues won two of their three Premier League games against Liverpool and Everton. A 0-0 draw at Leeds maintained their unbeaten run and ensured three clean sheets for the month.

Goal of the Month – Erick Lamela
Rounding off the Premier League awards in Erik Lamela’s insane ‘rabona’ goal in the north London derby.
The Tottenham star, who replaced an injured Son Heung-min, curved a superb ‘rabona’ finish past Arsenal keeper Bernd Leno to open the scoreline.
The Gunners may have recovered to steal a brilliant 2-1 derby win, but Lamela scored top points for his brilliant goal.
