The Premier League awards for the best player, manager, and goal have been announced for the month of April 2022.
Player of the Month – Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United)
Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Player of the Month award for April after scoring five goals in four games.
It’s the second time the forward has claimed the prize this season, and the sixth time in his career to date. He is just one behind Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane’s record of seven awards.
Ronaldo topped an eight-man shortlist comprising Heung-Min Son (Tottenham Hotspur), Nathan Collins (Burnley), Kevin De Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City), Bruno Guimaraes (Newcastle United), Thiago (Liverpool), and Leandro Trossard (Brighton & Hove Albion).

Manager of the Month – Mike Jackson (Burnley)
Burnley interim boss Mike Jackson has won the Premier League Manager of the Month for April.
The 48-year-old replaced the sacked Sean Dyche in the middle of the month. He went unbeaten in four matches, bagging three wins and a draw. These vital 10 points moved Burnley out of the relegation zone. The Clarets had only won four of their past 30 games beforehand.
Thomas Frank (Brentford), Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), and Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool) were also in the running for this award.
Instant impact 👊

Goal of the Month – Miguel Almiron (Newcastle United)
The Paraguayan winger has claimed his first Premier League monthly award in April’s Goal of the Month.
Miguel Almiron got the nod for a stunner in the 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on April 20. From about midway into the Palace half, he shrugged off Tyrick Mitchell and later curled a left-foot shot into the top corner of the net.
Almiron beat Antonio Rudiger (vs Brentford), James Ward-Prowse (vs Leeds), Aaron Cresswell (vs Everton), Enock Mwepu (vs Arsenal), Connor Roberts (vs Southampton), and Granit Xhaka (vs Manchester United) in a seven-man shortlist for the accolade.
A thing of pure beauty 😍
