The 2020/21 Premier League fixture lists have been released with reigning champions Liverpool to meet the newly promoted Leeds on day one.
The summer break is nearly over as teams have just three weeks left to prepare for the 2020/21 Premier League campaign, which starts on September 12.
Kicking things off on the opening weekend of the new season will be champions Liverpool and Championship winners Leeds United.
Fellow promoted side West Brom, on the other hand, will play host to Leicester City at The Hawthorns. While play-off winners Fulham welcome Arsenal to Craven Cottage in London.
But the fixtures for Manchester City vs Aston Villa and Burnley vs Manchester United have been postponed to give City and United a 30-day cushion to recover from their Champions League and Europa League campaigns respectively.
When these matches will take place next remains unknown as the Premier League hasn’t announced a new date yet.
Chelsea and Wolves, meanwhile, begin their Premier League seasons two days later than planned due to their slightly earlier European exits.
Here are the opening games of the 2019/20 weekend as stated on the league’s official website.
