PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino has responded to rumors claiming Kylian Mbappe told him about his wish to leave the club.
Mauricio Pochettino has denied rumors alleging that Kylian Mbappe told him he will not sign a new contract at Paris Saint-Germain.
The 22-year-old’s current deal expires next summer, and he is yet to agree on fresh terms at the Parc des Princes amid rumors linking him with a big-money move to Real Madrid.

That said, Mbappe still harbors hopes of winning the Champions League at PSG. And while Pochettino insists any talks with the Frenchman over his future are ‘private’, he denied claims the striker has told him of plans to not sign a new contract.
“Those are private discussions. But Kylian has not talked about that with me,” the PSG boss told Le Parisien.
Pochettino added: “What’s clear is that Kylian still has a year left on his contract.
“He’s a player in the squad and we’ll treat him in the same way we would someone who has another five years left.
“It’s different but every situation can develop and evolve – that kind of thing is managed at another level, on the sporting level it changes nothing.”
PSG have already snapped up Sergio Ramos, Georginio Wijnaldum, Gianluigi Donnarumma, and Achraf Hakimi this summer.
The Ligue 1 heavyweights have also completed a permanent €16 million deal for Danilo Pereira following the midfielder’s season on loan in France.
