After securing a much-needed victory over Fulham, the Chelsea coach gave an update on the status of Mykhailo Mudryk and Moises Canceido.

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has suggested Mykhailo Mudryk and Moises Caicedo’s injuries are not severe.

Mudryk, who scored his maiden goal for Chelsea in Monday’s 2-0 victory over Fulham, came off at halftime due to a thigh issue.

“Mykhailo felt something in his quad. He didn’t feel comfortable to keep playing. We hope it is not a big issue,” Pochettino said of the Ukraine international.

Caicedo, on the other hand, limped off the field following a collision with Willian. The full extent of the midfielder’s injury is yet to be determined.

“It was a contusion,” Pochettino added on Caicedo. “Hopefully it’s nothing serious, he was tired and we will see.”

On a positive note, Armando Broja, who made his first start since recovering from an ACL injury, found the net for Chelsea.

The Albanian striker came off in the second-half as a precautionary measure.

Chelsea, who have won their past two games, will now aim for a third straight victory on Saturday. They will visit Burnley at Turf Moor in the Premier League.
