An ex-Juventus player explains how his move to Spain came at a perfect time while also opening up on his ambitions at Camp Nou.

FC Barcelona snapped up Miralem Pjanic from Juventus over the summer in a swap deal involving Arthur Melo.

Having made over 170 senior appearances for clubs across Europe and almost a century of appearances for his national team, the Bosnian brings a wealth of experience to his new team.

However, Barca, with the likes of Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba, already have several much-experienced players. As a result, Pjanic has been limited to only three starts so far, with all of those coming in the Champions League.

The midfielder is happy at Camp Nou but insists that he won’t settle for just being at the club as he sets sights on ‘big titles’.

Pjanic told Canal Football Club: “I’m at the best club in the world and there’s a style of play that I’ve always wanted to play, but I’m not satisfied yet.

“I want to have the opportunity to win big titles. That’s my objective, to be the best and win big titles and that’s what I want.

“I had the chance to go to clubs like Bayern Munich or Inter in the past, but it didn’t feel like the right time. Now I play for Barcelona and it’s a great challenge.”
