The Argentina internatonal is yet to extend his stay at the Allianz Arena despite his current contract set to run down in June 2022.

Andrea Pirlo suggests he is still counting on Paulo Dybala but has failed to provide a guarantee over the player’s future at Juventus.

Uncertainty has surrounded Dybala’s situation at Juventus with the attacker fast approaching the final year of his current contract at the club.

This uncertainty has invited transfer talks, with possible moves to Manchester United, Tottenham, and Paris Saint-Germain mooted for the 27-year-old.

It has been reported that Juve would be willing to cash in on him in the summer out of fear of losing him for free the next year.

The Argentine attacker has spent much of this season on the sidelines, having missed 21 games due to fitness issues. He has made only 17 appearances across all competitions so far and has made just six direct goal contributions.

“With Dybala, it’s the club who are in charge of making the decisions,” said Pirlo, via Marca.

“I’m fortunate to coach winners like him. This season, we’ve never had him available, but he’s back now and we’ll make the most of him for the final stretch of the season.

“The final decisions are made by the directors.”
