It was all business for Andrea Pirlo as the newly appointed Juventus manager took charge of his first training session at the club.

Pirlo spotted a firm look as Juventus began their pre-season activity in Turin today.

A lot is expected to change with the appointment of the ‘rookie’ manager in such a high profile.

There is nothing official yet but some reports suggest Pirlo could switch Juve to a back-four in defence.

The Italian manager is hoping to instill his ideas on the Juventus players early on.

Pirlo put the players through their paces on Monday afternoon and also made them do light drills.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who arrived back in Turin last night, took part along with the rest of the squad.

The images shared via the Juventus Twitter account was missing two key faces. The duo of Paulo Dybala and Matthijs De Ligt remain sidelined due to injury.

Pirlo was accompanied by his staff, including his new assistant manager Igor Tudor.

The squad worked in small groups, as per medical protocol, focusing primarily on athletic exercises.
