Two more dropped points means the Bianconeri could slip two places down to fifth at the end of Serie A round 33.

Andrea Pirlo admits Juventus had a “horrible” first half and that their second half wasn’t “good enough” either against Fiorentina on Sunday.

Alvaro Morata come off the bench to save Juventus’ blushes, scoring from a fantastic effort to ensure a 1-1 share of the spoils in the Serie A fixture at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

The draw could prove costly for the Old Lady as it could see them slip down the Champions League positions at the end of Serie A round 33.

Juve crrently sit at third but will drop to fourth if Atalanta win their game in hand and even to fifth if Napoli too win their game in hand.

“It was a horrible first half,” Pirlo told Sky Sport Italia after the match.

“We should’ve started in a different way, because this was a fundamental fixture in the race for the Champions League places, but we were too slow, our distances were all wrong and we were always second to the ball.

“Our first half was bad, the second a little better, but it still wasn’t good enough. We tried one thing and ended up doing something completely different, but we adjusted to the way we have done throughout the season and it went better.”
