The Reds faithful have banded together in a show of support for the club’s under-fire manager.
‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ was the message Liverpool fans had for Jurgen Klopp.
The club’s iconic song, perhaps the most famous football anthem, is a huge part of Liverpool’s identity and its title was a fitting message for Klopp, who has come under increasing pressure in recent weeks.
The Reds boss conceded hopes of another Premier League title are over on Saturday after a 3-1 defeat to Leicester City. It left them 13 points behind table-toppers Manchester City, who still have a game in hand.
Klopp’s mother, Elisabeth, also passed away last week and he couldn’t travel to Germany due to the COVID-19 restrictions for the funeral.
So, in a show of solidarity in these difficult times both on and off the pitch, the Liverpool fans rallied around Klopp with a heartfelt banner outside Anfield.
“Jurgen Klopp YNWA,” it read.
