Manchester City have responded after Jack Grealish was seen out with teammates in a video posted online.
Pep Guardiola responded to video footage of Jack Grealish on a night out with Manchester City teammates looking worse for wear, as they were turned down entry to a bar on Sunday.
Grealish was seen with Kyle Walker and Riyad Mahrez in a clip shared on TikTok, being helped by another member as they walked away from the bar.
The video posted by Mizormalc is captioned: “Man like Jacky too drunk to get in.”
The person filming can also be overheard saying: “Jack’s burst, he’s not allowed inside, look at him, Jack’s burst.”
Grealish was filmed wearing a white hoodie outside the Albert Scholss – a Bavarian beer cellar in Manchester city centre.
When asked for his thoughts on the video making the rounds, City boss Guardiola said: “I’m so upset because they didn’t invite me and I don’t like it.
“Next time, hopefully, they can invite me. The video didn’t show exactly what happened. Dinner together, sober, enjoying with their mates and some of the backroom staff.
“The players know they take risks by going out because today there is social media but all of them were perfect. But they will be fined because they didn’t invite me.”
Asked if he feels his players are unfairly treated, Guardiola added: “In this case, yes.”
Guardiola previously reprimanded Grealish and Phil Foden after they were pictured on a night out following the 7-0 win over Leeds United in December.
