The Portuguese forward has attracted interest from a number of elite sides this season.
Wolves have reportedly set a £60 million price tag for Pedro Neto amid interest from Arsenal and Tottenham. The 23-year-old has emerged as a top target for the London giants, who are both expected to bolster their attacking lines next summer.
According to Evening Standard, Wolves are steadfast in their demand for a fee surpassing the £53 million garnered from Matheus Nunes’ transfer to Manchester City last summer. With a lucrative £100 million profit from player sales this season, Wolves are under no pressure to sell more players in the next transfer window.
Despite Wolves’ struggle for consistency under Gary O’Neil this season, Neto has established a reputation as one of Premier League’s most in-demand wingers. Since returning from a serious knee injury, the Portuguese star has registered three goals and ten assists in his 18 appearances across all competitions.
Arsenal, who have been linked with a move for Neto before, are expected to add a new forward to their ranks in the summer. Tottenham’s pursuit of Neto, however, hinges on their decision regarding a £15 million option to secure Timo Werner‘s permanent transfer from RB Leipzig.
