World Cup-winning footballer Paul Pogba will make his silver screen debut in a French film titled “4 Zéros,” slated for release in April 2025.
Sources confirmed that Pogba filmed scenes for the movie in Paris this week. However, the 31-year-old is currently serving a four-year suspension for a doping violation, which he received in February. Pogba maintains his innocence, stating he never knowingly took banned substances and intends to appeal the decision. The film, a sequel to the successful “3 Zéros” released in 2002, casts Pogba in the role of a youth team football coach.
As he awaits the outcome of his appeal, which will be heard by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), Pogba’s participation in the movie marks a departure from the football pitch into the world of cinema. If successful, his appeal could potentially reduce the duration of his ban.
