During a Q&A session on the official website of Manchester United, Paul Pogba picked his toughest opponents on the pitch.

Manchester United playmaker Paul Pogba has revealed his toughest rivals on the pitch. The France international has faced top-class players throughout his entire footballing career. However, only a few make it to the list of players who have troubled the 28-year-old on the field.

According to Pogba, his national teammate N’Golo Kante and Real Madrid star Casemiro are two names that come to his mind. To be honest, anybody would agree that the Chelsea midfielder and the Brazilian in Spain are amongst the sharpest of players at the moment.

During a Q&A session on United’s official website, Pogba said: “My toughest opponent on the pitch? To be honest, it’s tough against N’Golo Kante.”

“Casemiro too… he is a hard one also. “I can’t remember all of them; they’re the first ones that come to mind that I had.”

“Yes, those are the first ones. Maybe there are a few more players but I don’t have the names now.”

To answer the most anticipated question, Pogba met Casemiro in the 2017 UEFA Super Cup match only to see his side lose 2-1 to Real Madrid. But when it comes to his national colleague, both have been fighting regularly in the Premier League for a long time.

Kante joined Leicester City in 2015 and later moved to Stamford Bridge in 2016. Having made a return to Old Trafford in 2016, Pogba began facing Kante who became the worst nightmare for him in the midfield.
