Ahead of the end of the season, we came to tell you that joining PSG is the only logical next step for Cristiano Ronaldo’s career.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been struggling with his demons all season but his future should be at PSG starting this summer. Even though he is probably going to win the Serie A’s top scorer award, he is obviously very disappointed with Juventus’ results this season. If the season ended today, the Bianconeri wouldn’t even make it to the Champions League in the next campaign.
To put it in simple terms: Cristiano Ronaldo can’t stain his career with the Europa League. This is the type of player who was born to only play the Champions League until the day he retires. Something similar happens with a number of players who are considered elite such as Messi, Neymar, or Kylian Mbappe. They simply can’t see themselves playing the less important continental tournament. Cristiano Ronaldo has only one logical choice, maybe two but one is definitely above the other.
PSG or Manchester United for Ronaldo.
Neymar already started the rumor mill with his recent statements on GQ Magazine, he wants to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. This can only happen if the Juventus star signs for the French giants this summer. However, getting him to do that means they have to sell Kylian Mbappe and that can only happen if Real Madrid can afford him. Imagine Neymar playing next to Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos as the top defender.
PSG would turn unbeatable instantly. As far as the other option goes, Ronaldo can also play for Manchester United next season but his chances to win the Champions League would be smaller. Even though the Red Devils already have a competitive squad, they simply don’t have the firepower to take the club to the highest level. Perhaps Ronaldo is the player they are missing right now. Only time will tell where he will go but we advise him to play for PSG.
