The hosts eventually opened the scoring through Karim Ansarifard in the 34th minute, forcing United to attack deeper in the second half.
United came close to suffering counter-attack blows a few times after half-time. However, their quick comeback got Omonia by surprise.
Marcus Rashford made it 1-1 in the 53rd minute before Anthony Martial put Man Utd ahead ten minutes later.
Omonia pushed for the equalizer, but Erik ten Hag’s men retained their dominance over possession. Following a precise assist from Cristiano Ronaldo, Rashford made it 3-1 for the guests from close range.
