Willian has officially swapped allegiances in London after leaving Chelsea to sign a three-year deal with Arsenal.

Willian’s future has been a subject of wild speculations over the past few months, particularly in light of his contractual uncertainty at Chelsea.

Since the Blues refused to meet the winger’s request for a three-year contract, it’s become clear the 32-year-old’s faith lies away from Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal were quick to react to Willian’s prays for a long-term agreement and have ultimately managed to get the deal over the line.

The Gunners have announced the signing of the former Anzhi Makhachkala forward via their official Twitter account.

Willian moved to the Premier League in 2013 and has gone on to clock up 37 goals and 39 assists in 234 top-flight appearances for Chelsea.

During his seven-year stint in west London, the Brazil international lifted five major trophies, including two Premier League crowns.

His arrival at the Emirates should bring much-needed experience and winning mentality to Mikel Arteta’s side and hand a boost to their hopes of keeping Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on board.
