Official: Real Madrid confirm new deal for Toni Kroos

German World Cup winner Toni Kroos has extended his nine-year stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Toni Kroos, a player who has been a key component in Real Madrid’s success over the past decade, has signed a contract extension to stay with the team for another season until June 2024.

At the age of 33, Kroos has shown that he is still at the top of his game. His impressive performance on the pitch has not gone unnoticed. He started 45 of the club’s 61 games across all competitions last season, leaving manager Carlo Ancelotti and president Florentino Perez keen to retain him.

On Wednesday, Real Madrid made the exciting announcement through a statement, confirming that the player will remain tied to the club for next season.

Kroos has already made 417 appearances for Los Blancos, producing 27 goals and 89 assists. The midfielder is the club’s most-capped German player. During his nine seasons in Madrid, he has helped the team win an impressive 20 titles, including 4 Champions Leagues, 5 Club World Cups, 4 European Super Cups, 3 La Liga titles, 1 Copa del Rey, and 3 Spanish Super Cups.
