Leeds United have completed their second signing in two days, with German defender Robin Koch joining from SC Freiburg.
Leeds United continue to prepare for their Premier League return, as they officially confirmed the signing of central defender Robin Koch from SC Freiburg for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year old has signed a four-year deal with the Peacocks, which should keep him at Elland Road until 2024.
Koch is Marcelo Bielsa’s second signing this week, with Spanish forward Rodrigo Moreno completing his move from Valencia on Friday afternoon.
He made 32 league appearances for SC Frieburg in the 2019-20 campaign, helping the club finish in eighth place in the Bundesliga.
The defender has also won two caps for the German national team and was included in the squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League games against Spain and Switzerland.
Robin Koch made his professional debut at SV Eintracht Trier, before moving to his hometown club Kaiserslautern in 2015. He has played 175 games on professional level, netting eight goals in his career so far.
The young center-back has become the third German player to join Leeds United, after Pierre-Michel Lasogga and Felix Wiedwald.
