OFFICIAL: Inter Milan appoint a new manager as Conte’s successor

Just weeks after Antonio Conte’s departure, Inter Milan rapidly bring in a new manager from a Serie A rival club.

The news we all have been waiting for has arrived! Serie A champions Inter Milan finally chose a successor for Antonio Conte. 

Simone Inzaghi has been given the managerial role at San Siro with a two-year agreement. Just after the Nerazzurri lifted a memorable domestic silverware, Conte said goodbye to the club. 

Since then, Inter have been scrutinizing the market for a viable option to coach their incredible team. And finally, the anticipation comes to an end after searching for various candidates.

Inzaghi has dictated the last four years of his career at Lazio having seen time with the youth squad at the same club before 2016.

Inter’s official statement read: “FC Internazionale Milano would like to welcome Simone Inzaghi to the club, as our new first-team coach: the Italian manager has signed a two-year deal with the Nerazzurri.”
