The former Arsenal star has become the global ambassador of a crypto-led betting website.
Nwankwo Kanu has joined Sportsbet.io as their new global ambassador. The crypto-based platform provides users with an opportunity to bet on a wide range of markets using cryptocurrency.
The Nigeria great is the latest legend to join the company, who is Arsenal’s official betting partner.
“Signing for Sportsbet.io was the perfect opportunity to join the crypto revolution,” Kanu said.
“I’ve already seen how crypto can be a force for good in our world, with the Kanu Heart Foundation receiving significant Bitcoin donations. I’ll be working closely with the team at Sportsbet.io to help spread the word.”
Kanu has signed a four-year deal with Sportsbet.io, where he will appear on their promotional materials.

Kanu joins Sportsbet.io’s team of ambassadors, which includes a trio of hip-hop legends: King Kaka, Tekno Miles, and Cassper Nyovest.
