Lionel Messi’s father, Jorge Messi met with Josep Maria Bartomeu but the two-hour discussions concluded without a positive result.

Josep Maria Bartomeu has run Barcelona into the ground. Lionel Messi does not want to bear witness to the destruction of the Camp Nou. The Argentine wants to leave but is not being allowed to do so

A meeting between Messi’s father Jorge Messi and Bartomeu was held. The meeting ran two-hours long. Marca has reported that the discussions did not bear a fruitful result for any party.

Jorge shared his son’s intent, which is to leave the Camp Nou in the ongoing transfer window. La Pulga has plenty of offers on the table, with Inter Milan, Manchester City, and Paris Saint-Germain leading the race.

The meetings between Messi’s camp and Barcelona have intensified today. Earlier in the day, Messi’s brother, Rodrigo Messi, met with Barcelona director, Javier Bordas.

The two parties are far from each other in reaching an amicable agreement. Messi wants to leave on a free, while Bartomeu is insisting on his 700 million Euros release clause being met.

Barcelona are dealing terribly with the news, bringing the gentlemen’s agreement between club and player into disrepute.
