Jack Wilshere, who is back training with his former club, has revealed there is one star who surpasses Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as Arsenal’s fastest player.
Kieran Tierney is the fastest Arsenal player based on a recent sprint test, according to Jack Wilshere.
For a long time, many fans have assumed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the fastest player at Arsenal. To be fair, though, the Gabonese is 32 years old now. So it’s possible he could’ve lost a little pace, especially compared to a 24-year-old Tierney.
That said, the Scot’s pace left even Wilshere, who is back training at London Colney in an attempt to revive his career, surprised.

“You know what it was surprising. We were doing a sprint test today and I was saying to the guy like ‘who’s the fastest, is it Aubameyang?’ And he was like no, it’s Tierney”, the midfielder told talkSPORT.
“It surprised me.”
Of course, Tierney has become a fan favorite at the Emirates following his €27 million arrival from Celtic in 2019. The left-back has won plaudits for his tenacious style and work ethic, with 69 appearances under his belt already at Arsenal.
