Ronaldo scored a match-winner as Man United claimed their third consecutive victory in the Premier League.

Manchester United defeated Norwich with a 1-0 result in their Premier League game on Saturday. Cristiano Ronaldo scored a penalty for the Red Devils as they climbed up to fifth place on the league table.

Ronaldo strikes again!

It took a while until the Red Devils found their rhythm at the Carrow Road Stadium. During their underwhelming start to the game, Norwich had decent chances to score the opener. However, David de Gea managed to deny Ozan Kabak by several impressive saves.

Man United played significantly better in the second half. Despite moments of unbalanced performance, the Red Devils managed to continue attacking the hosts. Their efforts finally paid off in the 75th minute.

Following a careless challenge on Ronaldo by Max Aarons, the referee awarded United a penalty kick. Ronaldo then scored the only goal of the night by smashing the ball into the bottom-left corner of the net.

Norwich pushed hard to get the equalizer after conceding the goal. However, De Gea’s heroics prevented them from ruining the night for Rangnick’s side.

The victory sends Man United to fifth place on the table. The Red Devils were far from their best form, but they still delivered whenever it mattered. Rangnick’s side will now prepare to meet Brentford on Tuesday.

On the other hand, Norwich suffered their second defeat in a row as they remained at the bottom of the table. The Canaries will face Aston Villa in their next game.
