After a tough battle, Serbia beat Norway after Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s cheeky goal to push the nation close to Euro 2020.

Norway faced Serbia on Thursday in the Path C’s playoff semifinal of the Euro 2020 qualifiers.

However, the game ended Serbia’s way after an entertaining extra-time match.

Subsequently, Rune Almenning Jarstein saved Norway from eliminating for a long time.

Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic netted both the goals for Serbia. He scored the first goal of the game nine minutes before the end of normal time.

Though, to everyone’s surprise, Norway equalized in the 88th minute. Mathias Normann kept Norway alive in the tussle to qualify.

Extra-time madness!

Evidently, Serbia created more opportunities in the extra-time. Right towards the end, Milinkovic-Savic put the game to bed. He chipped the ball over Jarstein and Norway defenders to settle the final score at 1-2.

Nonetheless, Serbia will now battle against Scotland to earn a place at Euro 2020
