Spain continued their four-game winning streak by beating Norway.
Spain defeated Norway 1-0 in their Euro 2024 qualifier on Sunday. La Roja escaped the Ullevaal Stadium with a narrow victory.
What happened?
Spain established their dominance early on but struggled to convert several chances in the first 15 minutes. Following a ruled-out goal in the 21st minute, La Roja increased the pressure on Norway’s backline but had to wait until after the break to find the back of the net.
Following a set of poor clearances and deflections inside the box, Gavi smashed the ball into the net to make it 1-0 in the 49th minute. Spain continued to dominate the possession but barely got another shot on target in the remainder of the second period.
