Dejan Kulusevski admits Cristiano Ronaldo is unstoppable as his Sweden side prepare to face CR7 and Portugal on Wednesday.
Dejan Kulusevski is hoping his side can keep Ronaldo at bay when Portugal take on Sweden in the Nations League on Wednesday.
CR7 scored a brace in the first leg of the same fixture in group stage back in September and the Swedish winger said nobody could stop him that day.
Having trained alongside Ronaldo at Juventus, Kulusevski would know better than most about the validity of his statements.
Both players will now face-off once again and the Swedish star is hopeful his Juventus teammate can be kept quiet this time around.
“In the first leg it was impossible to stop him, no one can do it. If he has a good day, he decides everything alone,” the former Parma loanee told Aftonbladet.
“Wednesday we have another chance. It will be fun to face him as we get to know each other better.”
It would be a difficult task to do that with Ronaldo having lots of motivation to find the back of the net.
CR7 is yet to score in his last two games for Portugal and he will be eager to make ammends to that.
Also, he still has an international record to break and that is further motivation for him to go out guns blazing for a goal or two.
