Both sides will be aiming to build on their previous respective league victories when they take on each other in a Ligue 1 outing on Friday.

To the delight of the football fans, the international break finally came to an end on Wednesday giving way to much-adored domestic competitions.

Ligue 1 will be one of the earliest leagues to return to action with its first match scheduled to be played on Friday evening.

Paris Saint-Germain, who rank fourth in the standings, will take on Nimes, who are down low in the bottom half of the table, to commence matchday 7.

Nimes vs PSG Form:

Les Crocodiles started the season strongly, recording a 4-0 win in the opening game, but got beat in succession thereafter. However, they will also enter Friday’s match with strong morale, having been undefeated in their previous 3 matches.

The away side’s story is opposite to that of their upcoming opponents. Thomas Tuchel’s men began the 2020/21 season in an unwanted fashion, suffering successive defeats in the opening two games. They have, however, managed to bounce back since then winning their last four league matches. Also, in each of their said four wins, a clean sheet was achieved.

Nimes vs PSG Head-to-head:

The French champions got the upper hand in the last meeting between the two sides, winning the only outing against them in the last season 3-0. Also, PSG have scored 2+ goals in the last four clashes.
