The French side are reportedly keen to sell Neymar this summer.

Neymar has insisted he has no intentions of leaving Paris Sain-Germain this summer.

Several French sources have linked Neymar with a move away from PSG since the opening of the summer transfer window. PSG have reportedly put Neymar on their sell list ahead of the next season.

However, the Brazil international says he is unaware of the club’s plans for him.

“I want to stay at Paris Saint Germain,” Neymar told AFP.

“No one from the club told me anything about the plans for my future, as things stand.

“I don’t know what kind of plans they have for me – I want to stay.”

Chelsea emerged as a possible destination for Neymar after they failed to sign his countryman Raphinha. However, Raheem Sterling’s move to Stamford Bridge has cooled off their interest in the 30-year-old.

PSG have struggled to find suitors for Neymar amid their plans to reduce the size of their current squad.

Speaking in a press conference last week, PSG manager Christophe Galtier admitted his side might have to offload a few players.

“A team is always stronger with great players, and Neymar is one,” he said.

“I know where Neymar can be comfortable, whether it’s a little higher off the hook or in front of two midfielders.

“I will adapt to the squad I have. We have to reduce it, but I want it to be as good as possible.

“What I want, by having an obviously very strong eleven, is that this eleven is at least as strong with the five possible changes.”
