After wishing it into existence, Neymar finally reacted to his imminent reunion with Leo Messi at Paris Saint-Germain through an Instagram story.

During the start of 2021, Neymar made an ominous statement about Leo Messi that is coming back today. He specifically stated he wanted to play alongside his friend once again, and he was certain it would happen. When he first mentioned this, there were many FC Barcelona supporters who believed he meant that he would go back to the club. But they never stopped to think about the possibility of Messi leaving to play for PSG. Back then, the thought of Messi not wearing the Barcelona jersey anymore was completely impossible.

As time kept going by, Joan Laporta won the election with the promise of Messi staying but he wasn’t able to change anything in the end. Neymar’s prediction finally came to fruition today and the Brazilian star reacted through an Instagram story. Finally, he can get to relive all those great moments he went through with Messi when they played together in Barcelona. We are getting to experience one of the most impressive footballing duos once again, now in Paris

What was Neymar’s exact reaction?

After watching the entire situation unfold in Paris, Neymar uploaded an Instagram story of him watching highlights from his time playing with Messi in Barcelona. He only wrote one caption: ‘Back together’. That was more than enough for the fans to go wild and celebrate the return of a brilliant partnership. But that’s not all. Messi will also play alongside one of the players who seems destined to take his place as the best footballer in the world: Kylian Mbappe.

However, the French forward still needs to make a decision about his own future. With Leo playing for PSG, the spotlight he always wanted might not be possible anymore as a PSG player. Perhaps now is the perfect time for him to refuse to sign a new contract and play for Real Madrid. But then again, who would be crazy enough to pass the opportunity to play with one of the best players in football history?
