The PSG star has attracted interest from several English sides ahead of the summer transfer window.

Neymar has confirmed he wants to stay at Paris Saint-Germain for the next season.

The 30-year-old’s current contract at Parc des Prince runs until 2025. However, speculations around his future have intensified after Kylian Mbappe’s record-breaking contract extension at PSG.

L’Equipe claimed the French giants are now open to selling Neymar in the upcoming transfer window. However, the Brazil star says he is not planning a summer departure.

“It’s really true on my side that I want to stay,” he told Oh My Goal.

“Nobody has told me anything, but on my side, it’s pretty clear I want to stay.”

Neymar made 22 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG last season, winning his fourth league title at the club. Newcastle and Chelsea are reportedly keen to sign the former Barcelona star.

A few English sources have claimed PSG are worried about Neymar’s injury records. However, the player’s lack of interest in moving away could be a problem if they want to sell him before the end of his contract.

There are also reports about PSG’s possible sacking of their manager Mauricio Pochettino. Zinedine Zidane is reportedly the French giants’ first choice to replace the Argentine. Let’s see if a switch in the dugout can change Neymar’s mind ahead of the next season.
