The Brazilian star took to social media to respond Meunier’s recent comments about him.
Neymar has responded to his former teammate Thomas Meunier who claimed he has ‘lost his magic’ at Paris Saint-Germain.
Meunier played for three seasons alongside Neymar at PSG before moving to Borussia Dortmund in 2020.
Speaking to Kicker on Wednesday, the Belgian defender made a comment about Neymar’s form at PSG.
“I have to admit that I was a big fan of Neymar when he was still playing at Barcelona,” Meunier said. “In Paris, however, he lost his magic, from my point of view.”
Neymar went on to comment on a post showing Meunier’s interview.
“This boy talks too much”, the Brazil star wrote on Instagram.
Neymar became the world’s most expensive player when he joined PSG on a €222m deal in 2017. Five years after arriving at Parc des Princes, the Brazilian star is reportedly on the club’s sell list.
After scoring 19 Ligue 1 goals in his debut campaign at PSG, the former Barcelona star has failed to score more than 15 in any of his next four seasons at the French side.
PSG manager Christophe Galtier has admitted PSG need to reduce the size of their squad ahead of the next season. However, no club has shown serious interest in signing Neymar this summer.
