The world’s most expensive footballer has been holding discussions with the French champions over a contract extension for a while now.
Neymar informs “everything is nearly sorted” regarding his Paris Saint-German contract extension and that he feels “truly very happy” at the club.
The Brazilian forward’s spell at PSG has not been without controversy, with previous reports claiming him to be unhappy at Parc de Princes and that he desires a return to FC Barcelona.
Even Barcelona were understood to be keen on rejoining forces with their former star, who helped the club win nine trophies during four-year stay including a treble, as they looked to add more firepower amid their struggles in Europe’s biggest stage.
However, it seems those rumors have died now as the 29-year-old seems more settled in the French capital.
Neymar told RMC Sport: “We are in talks with PSG. There is nothing pressing.
“Everything is nearly sorted. I feel at ease. I feel truly very happy here at PSG.
“Concerning the fans, that is what I can’t wait for the most, for them to be back in the stadium. I hope that they support all the players, that they will be there to encourage us.”
