One of Neymar’s most trusted allies is convinced he will play alongside Leo Messi at FC Barcelona by next season. Is it possible?
Neymar revealed earlier this season that he plans to play alongside Messi by the next campaign. We all believed it was a threat of Leo leaving Barcelona to play for PSG when this season ends. However, Neymar’s former agent has inside information he just revealed to the public during an interview with El Litoral. He is convinced that Joan Laporta will do something in order to convince the Brazilian player to return to FC Barcelona.
To those who don’t remember, Cury was in charge of the star’s possible return from PSG in 2019. But in the end, the negotiations got stuck and he remained in France. As the summer keeps getting closer, the time will come for all the key players to make transcendental decisions.
“Neymar will return to Barcelona”
Marca picked up the following statement from Cury’s interview: “FC Barcelona’s doors are always open for Neymar. All the curlers know he made a mistake by leaving. Even he recognized it some time after making the decision. I was at FC Barcelona for ten years, I know every corner of the city. It would be amazing if Neymar returned to Barcelona.
“Two years ago, Neymar asked me to return to Barcelona. We tried and we were really close of getting him out of Paris, but details prevented it from happening. Laporta is the only one who can get them back together. Messi won’t leave Barcelona. He decided his story needs to end at the club, that’s very clear to me. If Neymar played with Messi again, it would be in Barcelona.”
