The Oranje strengthened their hold at the top of the group while also marked their first victory with Frank De Boer at the helm.
Netherlands moved one step closer to Nations League knockout stages after a comfortable 3-1 win over Bosnia & Herzegovina on Sunday.
Both sides took to the pitch at Johan Cruijff ArenA without several of their key players. Virgil van Dijk, Steven Bergwijn, Jasper Cillessen, and Edin Dzeko were the notable absentees in the match, all out due to fitness issues.
It did not take too long for the first goal to arrive, with the hosts taking the lead within six minutes of kick-off. Georginio Wijnaldum, after receiving a lovely pass from Denzel Dumfries, fired home from close range to finish off a move brilliantly started by Memphis Depay.
Just seven minutes later, Wijnaldum struck again, yet again from close range, to score his 20th international goal.
The Dutch thought they had added another when Luuk de Jong headed home near the half-hour mark, but the linesman’s flag was up.
Depay then tripled the Netherlands’ lead in the second half before Smail Prevljak pulled one back for Bosnia-Herzegovina.
