Jesus Navas is aware of the threats the upcoming opponents could pose but insists Sevilla will go into the match well prepared.
With the presence of the likes of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood, and Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United boast one of the most potent attacking systems.
The aforementioned players, who have scored 90 goals between them across all competitions this season, are set to be released upon Sevilla in the Europa League semi-finals.
Jesus Navas recently discussed the strength of Man United’s attack in an interview with UEFA.com.
The Sevilla skipper, who gained experience in facing the Red Devils during his time at Manchester City, suggests that their pacy attackers could hurt his side’s defense.
However, Navas notes that his side will have to go into Sunday’s match with the mentality to win, so they will not be hesitate to attack.
“I’ve played against them several times,” the fullback recalled.
“We know they’re tough opponents and it’ll be difficult. In terms of their individual players, they’ve got some quick players up top who are dangerous.
“We’re focusing on ourselves and knowing what we have to do in each game – and, particularly, keeping calm when necessary and then attacking at pace. The important thing is that we go into [Sunday’s game] with all the hope in the world of reaching the final. We’ll be going all out.”
