A host of elite European clubs are pushing to sign the Napoli pair.

Napoli director Cristiano Giuntoli has broken his silence over transfer reports about Victor Osimhen and Kalidou Koulibaly.

Osimhen was among Arsenal’s choices to reinforce their attacking line. But Gabriel Jesus’ move to Emirates has cooled off the move in recent days.

This leaves Manchester United, who have shown Osimhen in the past and are also looking for new attackers this summer.

Koulibaly, on the other hand, has emerged as a serious transfer target for Chelsea.

The Blues might intensify their efforts to sign him if Bayern Munich sign their number-one target Matthijs de Ligt. Manchester United, Arsenal, and Barcelona are the other clubs in the race to sign Koulibaly.

However, Giuntoli says they haven’t received an offer for the experienced defender.

“Koulibaly is key player for us,” the Napoli director said (via Fabrizio Romano).

“There’s no bid from any club. We’ve offered him new deal for €6m net salary per season plus future role as part of the board.”

“It’s a huge proposal, €60m gross for Napoli – Koulibaly deserves it all”.

Asked about Osimhen’s possible move away from the club, he responded: “There’s no bid for Osimhen. We’ve received some calls to explore the situation. Huge, really huge bid is needed to sell Osimhen.

“Koulibaly told us he wants to think about our new deal proposal and explore the options for his future”.
