An impressive debut campaign earns Zambo Anguissa a permanent move to Napoli.

André Zambo Anguissa signs a permanent deal to stay at Napoli, according to club president Aurelio De Laurentiis.

The Cameroon international moved to Napoli on a loan deal from Fulham last summer.

He has quickly established himself as a key player in Partenopei’s squad, becoming one of their standout performers of the campaign.

Anguissa’s performances have convinced the Italian giants to activate a reported €15m option to make his move permanent this summer.

“Anguissa will remain for sure. But I can’t tell you everything we have in mind,” De Laurentiis said about the midfielder.

According to Sky Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, Anguissa has already signed his new contract at Napoli.

The former Marseille star has made 29 appearances for the Blues as they sit third in Serie A.

Luciano Spalletti’s side have already reached the next season’s Champions League ahead of their final game of the season against Spezia.

Asked about Napoli’s plans for pre-season, De Laurentiis confirmed the team plan to train from July 9 to 19 in Dimaro.

“There will be some friendly matches, as usual. And we’ll have the chance to welcome more than 1,000 fans in the stands,” the Napoli president added.

“Hopefully, there won’t be limitations, we want to entertain the fans.”
