Zlatan Ibrahimovic stole the headlines with a brace that saw AC Milan claim a convincing 3-1 victory over Napoli at the Stadio San Paolo.

Ibrahimovic showed once again that age is just a number with yet another fine performance in Serie A against Napoli.

The game was a head-to-head for the top of the table, with Sassuolo having leapfrogged both with a 2-0 win at Verona earlier this afternoon.

Ibrahimovic headed in from 14 yards with 20 minutes played to score for the eighth league game in succession.

The big Swede grabbed another in the 54th minute to take his tally to 10 league goals for the season. He is the current Capocannoniere as it stands. However, there was a sore sight for the Rossoneri as he worryingly limped off late on with a thigh injury.

Dries Mertens had responded for Napoli only for Tiemoue Bakayoko to be sent off 165 seconds later.

In the final stages of the game, substitute Jens Petter Hauge grabbed his debut Serie A goal for Milan to wrap up the convincing 3-1 win.

The result sees Milan maintain their unbeaten start to the season after 10 games.
