Ahead of a win or bust clash, RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann is adamant his side will go all out for a result against Manchester United.

RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann is ready for a fight to the very last with Manchester United when both sides meet for a deciding match on Tuesday.

The Bundesliga side will advance to the knockout stage if they win while United could drop into the Europa League depending on Paris Saint-Germain’s result against Istanbul Basaksehir.

Leipzig have already lost 5-0 at the hands of Manchester United at Old Trafford back in October. However, Nagelsmann is not scared about the possibility of another defeat. Rather, he is more concerned about United’s ability to fight back after some impressive results in the Premier League of late.

The Red Devils have come from behind to win all of their five away games this season. They are also up there with the very best when it comes to away from for the whole of 2020.

Nagelsmann is aware an early goal might not be enough for his side as they face another battle to hold their lead should they get in on the front foot.

“We are aware that if Manchester United are trailing they can still turn the match around” the Leipzig boss said in a video interview as per Sky Sports.

“They have shown that in the last matches. We have to wait for the referee to end the match. We have to fight until the very end to get the three points against them.”

“I don’t know for which team it is easier – the team defeated 5-0 or that won 5-0. The result doesn’t such play such a big role. I think they will treat it as a fresh game.”

Nagelsmann claims he saw a positive side to his side’s initial defeat to the Red Devils.

“We analyzed the match and showed my players how good they were in certain situations. We were better in the game but a little bit too afraid at the start. We can add a lot and improve, especially in the last third”

“United defended well. We can’t say they played well, but they defended very well.”

“It’s complicated for United as well. Most of the group phase they were in first place, and now if they lose they might not go to the knockout stage.”
