The Tottenham boss will lock horns with his former Chelsea star player in a Premier League match this weekend.
Jose Mourinho believes he was under more pressure during his spell in charge of Chelsea compared to Frank Lampard.
The current Blues boss starred during Mourinho’s two spells in the Stamford Bridge dugout, helping him claim Premier League and EFL Cup glory before his departure in 2014.
Six years later, however, Lampard is now the man calling the shots at Chelsea and Mourinho coaches London rivals Tottenham. They’ve already squared off on three occasions as managers, with the former winning three of their four meetings.

Expectations have also grown on Lampard for his second season in charge following a summer ladened with expensive signings, but not on the same scale than what Mourinho claims to have experienced.
“What I felt is that when I was in these clubs, there was huge pressure on me and now there is not huge pressure on the coaches of these teams,” said the Portuguese as quoted by 90min.
“Put a little bit of pressure on them and leave us in peace, doing our job.”
Chelsea and Spurs will lock horns in a London derby at Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening.
Mourinho added: “When you are favorites, you know why you are favorites.
“And you have to accept that and you have to deal with that kind of pressure and responsibility.
“I was at clubs which were, let’s say, champions in the market because of their powerful investments. I had to deal with that pressure. So now it’s not for me to deal with that pressure. It’s for others to deal with that pressure. That’s not for us.”
